About Ruben B Botello JD

Ruben B. Botello has been an ardent human rights advocate since 1970. He is a Vietnam veteran, and now director of the National Legal Defense Team for Ramsey Muniz.
The Chicano advocate has a doctorate degree in jurisprudence, baccalaureate degree in political science, and associate degree in journalism. He chaired MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan) chapters, at Long Beach City College, Ventura Community College, California State University of Northridge and Humboldt State University, in the Seventies.
The retired advocate was an adjunct instructor, in Chicano and Ethnic Studies, at Ventura College and Humboldt State University (California). He founded the American Homeless Society, in 1987, and continues to advocate for homeless rights throughout the U.S. and the world.
