Abstract
The paper presents the latest developments of FILMTEC membranes and elements which have been successfully completed up to their introduction in the market. These developments include several different membranes types used in water treatment as seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) and brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO). The theoretical background will be discussed, followed by the final specification of the new products and key performance parameter out of field experiences.
