Accommodating the Challenges: Giving Disabled Students Equality in the CurriculumJournalism & Mass Communication Educator (2006)
The article presents the author's experience of teaching journalism to a disabled student with limited mobility. Being a broadcast journalism professor, the course designed by the author dealt mainly with video shooting. With all those physical limitations, it seemed almost impossible for the student to fulfill the requirements of the course. However, the author designed a course substitution for the student and gave personal attention to help him overcome the hurdles.
