Description
How are you striving to “Leave no one behind” in your work related to rural water supply? How do you understand the challenge to “reach the last mile” or “leave no-one behind”? In the first webinar of the RWSN webinar series on 16 April at 14.30 CET Louisa Gosling, WaterAid will present an excellent introduction to the concepts behind these questions and will share a comprehensive framework for implementing “Leave no one behind” in the rural WASH context. Three examples from the field will showcase the implementation of “Leave no one behind”: Kalpana Dishwa, Nepal-Finland cooperation will present the role of local governments in Nepal, Rochelle Holm, Mzuzu University will look at disability in WASH in Malawi and Thavin So, WaterAid will present a Gender Transformative Framework in Cambodia. As the webinar facilitator, Sara Ahrari, Simavi will provide her reflections on the presentations from an inclusive and sustainable WASH services perspective. Join us to share your understanding and experiences for “Leaving no one behind” in rural water supply.
