Research Director
Roberta De Santis is research director at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) in the department of data analysis and economic, social and environmental research. Since 1998, she has been teaching Economic Policy, Economics of European integration, Public Economics and International Economics at LUISS Guido Carli. From 2015 to 2018 she worked as research fellow at the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the Treasury Department. The key topics of her research are European integration, environmental policy and institutional quality, productivity and inequality. She is research fellow at the LUISS Lab of European Economics and Associate researcher of the Laboratory for Comparative Social Research of the Moscow Higher School of Economics. Her most recent publications are Environmental regulation and productivity growth: main policy challenges, (con P- Esposito e C.
