About Roberta De Santis



Roberta De Santis is senior economist at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) in the department of data analysis and economic, social and environmental research. She is also teaching Public Economics and International Economics at LUISS Guido Carli. She worked as research fellow at the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the Treasury Department. The key topics of her research are European integration, public policy and institutional quality, productivity and inequality. She is research fellow at the LUISS Lab of European Economics and Associate researcher of the Laboratory for Comparative Social Research of the Moscow Higher School of Economics. Her most recent publications are “Dynamics of net foreign asset components in the EMU” (with T. Cesaroni), in International Economics Elsevier and “Are there common structural determinants of potential output growth in Europe? An empirical exercise for 11 EMU countries”, (with P. Esposito) forthcoming in International Economic and Economic Policy, Springer.
