About Robert J. Wellman

Robert J. Wellman, PhD, CAS is a Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His primary research focus has been on the development and biological and psychological underpinnings of tobacco addiction, with a special interest in developing sound assessment instruments. He has recently expanded his focus to include binge drinking and other addictive behaviors, primarily among adolescents and young adults.
