An international economist who worked in academia (North Carolina State, Ohio University, Georgetown University), worked in government as a senior research economist (Division of Foreign Economic Research for the U.S. Labor Dept.) and served as the Chief Economist for the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. Published both theoretical papers in academic journals and policy studies for governments and international organizations. Dr. Shelburne is a former president of the International Trade and Finance Association.

About Robert C. Shelburne
