About Robert L. Paris, Ph.D.

Prior to joining Cedarville University in 2011, Dr. Paris spent 10 years working as a research geneticist in both the public and private research sectors. He began his career working on the genetic improvement of soybeans with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service, and most recently worked in American chestnut restoration with The American Chestnut Foundation. His current research projects include genetic improvement of crops and restoration of native species. Dr. Paris is a member of the Agronomy Society of America and the Crop Science Society of America.
