Robert G. Natelson, Professor of Law (ret.), The University of Montana, is Senior Fellow in Constitutional Jurisprudence at the Independence Institute in Denver and the Montana Policy Institute in Bozeman.
His works have been cited or otherwise relied on repeatedly by justices of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Professor Natelson is the author of The Original Constitution: What It Actually Said and Meant (2d ed., 2011) and co-author of The Origins of the Necessary and Proper Clause (Cambridge Univ. Press, 2010).
Professor Natelson writes primarily on constitutional law, and his best known for his objective inquiries into aspects of the Constitution's original meaning.
