Abstract

The purpose of this investigation was to examine Internet skills pedagogy in Middle Schools. Specifically the study sought to identify: (1) the specific forms of assistance that Middle School teachers felt were both heuristic and available; (2) the roles of teachers, parents, and administrators in assisting Middle School students to develop Internet skills; and (3) the practices, skills and resources that are most helpful in mentoring Middle School students as they achieve Internet proficiency.
