About Robert W. Pattie Jr.

Despite the many successes of the standard model of particle physics many issues remain unresolved. How did we come to live in a matter dominated universe? What sets the mass scale of the fundamental particles? What are dark matter and dark energy? My research uses cold and ultracold neutrons to investigate the limits of standard model and the fundamental symmetries of nature.
