Chronic Prostatitis: How to Adequately Improve Function and Wellbeing

Abstract
The diagnosis and treatment of chronic prostatitis was the focus of an abstract, An Integrated Approach to Pain Management in Chronic Prostatitis: A Case Study, presented at this month’s PAINWeek conference in Las Vegas. The patient was a 31-year-old male who experienced increased urinary frequency and pain in the scrotal and penile area for 2 months. His pain was rated as 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 during an emergency room visit.
