About Robbie Waters Robichau

Professor Robichau received her Ph.D. in Public Administration with a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University in August 2013.  Dr. Robichau’s research interests are in the areas of public and nonprofit management, organizational behavior, governance, and child welfare policy.  Her latest research explores the marketization and collaborations practices of child welfare nonprofits as they face institutional pressures from business, government, and other nonprofits.  Her research has been presented at American Society for Public Administration, Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action, Southeastern Conference for Public Administration, and the Association for Public Policy & Analysis Management.  Professor Robichau holds a Master of Public Service and Administration from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Lamar University.  She has research appearing in the Policy Studies Journal and Journal of Public Policy.  In Fall 2013, she joined the faculty at Georgia Southern University as an assistant professor in the Institute for Public and Nonprofit Studies, where she teaches graduate courses in public and nonprofit management, program evaluation, foundations of public administration, organizational behavior, and nonprofit administration.
