About Richard Wisneski

I have worked with electronic resources and the acquisitions and cataloging units. I have been responsible collection analyses of the library’s electronic and print resources. I run extensive reports and created Excel Dashboards to report on such matters as: COUNTER-compliant overlap analyses, database usage and turnaways, and cost-per-use of electronic journal subscriptions. I run fund reports to track the library’s fiscal spending on electronic and print subscriptions, analyze fiscal growth, and forecast spending patterns for the upcoming fiscal years. I manage cataloging, acquisitions, serials, metadata, and electronic resources. I have trained staff and taught workshops in cataloging, database management, acquisitions, and budget preparation and reporting. I have worked in academic libraries in Special Collections, Reference, and Instruction. Prior to my career in librarianship, I taught freshman composition and American literature.
