About Richard K Perrin

My academic interest is in economic issues related to agricultural productivity - what shapes it, how to measure and evaluate it, what its implications are for future food prices and resource use.
Currently, this interest leads me to the economics of potential biofuels, the food vs fuel issue, and the potential for Great Plains agriculture to sustainably produce more agricultural biomass over the next 40 years.
