Abstract

The research that has examined the relationship between aggressive child behavior and social status has been equivocated by inconsistent findings. Recently, however, a kindergarten study found that this ambiguity can be reduced by separating boys into aggressive versus aggressive/withdrawn groups. The present study represents a replication of these findings, while employing different assessment procedures, for a sample of elementary-age boys.
