Teachers Standing Against BullyingKentucky Education Association - Student Program, Student Assembly (2011)
AbstractBullying is a serious problem in schools; one that impacts all children — those who bully, those who are victimized and those who witness the acts. It also affects the teacher who is responsible for assuring that school is a safe place for all children to learn. A victim of bullying may need to stand up for themselves, but in school, they do not stand alone. Kentucky law requires specific responses from teachers who become aware of bullying.
