Objective TAT Scores and Personality Characteristics: Perceptual Organization
Perceptual and Motor Skills (1960)
  • Richard Dana, Portland State University
Abstract

This study examined the scoring category Perceptual Organization (PO) and what personality variables can be used. Pearson product-moment correlations were run between each of the seven PO components and 26 MMPI and 15 Rorschach criterion variables. 35 correlations were run between PO components and Wechsler-Bellevue, Form I, IQ scores. The results are significantly small, but the patterning suggests further testing. Cross-validation is necessary.
