Abstract

Focusing on a case study of the FundaciÌ_n Humanitaria de Costa Rica (Costa Rica Humanitarian Foundation, or CRHF) in the La Carpio neighborhood of San JosÌ©, Costa Rica, this article outlines the strategies the foundation uses. The article gives a brief history of the sociopolitical contexts of Costa Rican‰ÛÒNicaraguan migration and explores strategies of change grounded in feminism and liberation psychology. The authors explore lessons learned and implications.
