Abstract

This article assesses the various risk factors that undocumented immigrant men face while in the United States. The authors explore Latino migration to the United States, providing a sociohistorical framework to better understand and conceptualize these risks. Also, focus is placed on the demographics of Latino immigrant men, the globalization of immigration, the implication of masculinities, and the risks of deportation brought by federal policy and programs. These understandings bring further awareness of the various challenges and risks that Latino immigrant men face.
