About Reynold Jaglal

Reynold Jaglal MBA, PA-C is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Physician Assistant Studies program at Sacred Heart University.
In 2023 Professor Jaglal completed his Doctor of Medical Science from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS).  Dr. Jaglal completed the Leadership track as part of the DMSc degree. All DMSc graduates are required to complete a Capstone applied project. Dr. Jaglal’s Capstone project was titled “Impact on Increasing Diversity using a Holistic Admission Process: One PA Program’s Experience”.
Professor Jaglal joined SHU in the fall of 2014. His role included the development of key clinical affiliations with area physicians and medical centers and gaining provisional state and national accreditation for a new PA Program. As Director of Clinical Education, Mr. Jaglal coordinated 2nd year PA students’ clinical rotations. His teaches various medical courses in the didactic phase of the curriculum. Reynold serves on the CHP Clinical Education Committee and is the PA program’s co-chair of the Professional Performance Committee.  Prior to joining SHU, Mr. Jaglal served as the Chief Physician Assistant for Greenwich Hospital Emergency Department where he he was instrumental in the development of an urgent care center and chest pain observation unit. He continues to practice clinically and has been the emergency field for 23 years. In addition to clinical practice, Mr. Jaglal has served as a clinical preceptor for PA, nursing and medical students. Mr. Jaglal holds a PA degree from Long Island University and an MBA from the University of New Haven.
