Abstract

For many years, there have always been issues with poverty, but mental health was not often recognized as a confounding factor of this dilemma. As healthcare changes and new studies are implemented, we are not only focusing on identifying causes and consequences of mental health, but we are understanding the exacerbation of mental health illnesses specifically within poverty.
