About René Roselle

René Roselle, Ph.D is Professor and Director of Teacher Preparation in the Farrington College of Education and Human Development at Sacred Heart University. Before joining Sacred Heart she was the Associate Director of Teacher Education at the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut and has experience as a special education teacher. Her research focuses on teacher education, school-university partnerships and clinical preparation. Rene has extensive professional affiliations with much previous and present organizational involvement. She is an active member in the National Association for Professional Development Schools (NAPDS) and the American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE). Rene also co-edited Education in a Democracy: A Journal of the NNER. Most recently, René has been named to Board of Directors for the National Center for Clinical Practice and Education Preparation (NCCEP).
