About Regina Greenwood

Regina A. Greenwood is Professor of Management in the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. Before joining the faculty at NSU in 2007, she was Associate Professor of Management at Kettering University in Michigan. 

Dr. Greenwood is the Co-Historian and Co-Archivist for the Academy of Management and a member of the Executive Committee of the Management History Division for which she has been Division Chair and Program Chair. Dr. Greenwood served as Director of Membership for the Academy from 2003 – 2006 during which period the Academy grew to over 16,000 members worldwide. 

Her current research interests are in the areas of Lean Management and implementation strategies, international culture, values, and entrepreneurship, and management history, particularly in the area of strategy. Her research has been published in many professional outlets including the Journal of Management, the Journal of Management History, and the Academy of Strategic Management Journal. Recent research has also been spotlighted on National Public Radio and Newhouse News Service affiliates. 

Dr. Greenwood serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Management History, the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, the South Asian Journal of Global Business Research, the Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship, the Journal of Management History, Management and Organizational History; and the Journal of the North American Management Society; she has been a guest editor for the Academy of Management Journal. Her videotapes on management and international business are used in 24 Russian universities under a U. S. State Department program to develop business leaders in Russia. 

Dr. Greenwood’s non-academic experience includes employment with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and service on the boards of corporations and non-profit organizations such as Ford Motor Company’s Lean Advisory Board for Ford supplier development, the Baker College On-Line Board of Regents, and the Advisory Board for MBAA International. She is also a member of the Lean Educators Initiative, North American Management Society, the Academy of Management and the Southern Management Association.
