Age Differences in Memory and Source Monitoring: Adolescents and Young Adults

Abstract
A measure of memory and source monitoring ability was administered to a sample of adolescents (M age = 15.44) and young adults (M age = 20.53). Significant differences were found on total recall, person, object, and surrounding details, as well as source monitoring ability. No significant difference was found with action details.
