About Rebecca Kuehl

Dr. Rebecca A. Kuehl is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Studies & Theatre at South Dakota State University. Her scholarship focuses on intersections among rhetorical citizenship and public deliberation, civic rhetoric and education, and women’s health discourses. Her scholarship has been funded by a Community Innovation Grant from the Bush Foundation, the charitable arm of 3M. Her scholarship has appeared in edited volumes such as Rhetoric: Concord and Controversy and Contemporary Rhetorical Citizenship. Her scholarship has also appeared in the Southern Communication Journal, Communication Quarterly, Communication Design Quarterly Review, and the Journal of Human Lactation. She serves as Graduate Program Coordinator for the M.S. in Communication Studies degree.
