About Rebecca L. Keeler

Dr. Keeler earned her B.A in business administration from Florida Atlantic University, J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, and Ph.D in public administration from Florida Atlantic University. Her teaching and research interests include applied ethics, changing public/private institutional relationships, administrative law, public policy, and public administration theory. She has presented conference papers on public service ethics, privatization, and U.S. policy and AIDS. She practiced law for nearly 17 years in local government, and was certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in city, county and local government law (now in Emeritus status). During her legal practice and doctoral studies, she developed and presented ethics training to public officials, administrators, and professional associations.
