Abstract
Manos Inspiradas/Inspired Hands: Art from the Americas was a student curated and researched exhibition featuring artworks created by anonymous artists from Central America, Latin America, and the U.S. Southwest. The collection of paintings, sculpture, and textiles were inspired by the artists indigenous roots, their environment, and their religious and cultural traditions. The exhibition was a culmination of students' project-based research in the Honors course, "Art and Religion in Spain and the Latin America," taught by Dr. Rebecca Berru Davis.
