Abstract
According to Merriam-Webster, a revolution is defined as, “ a fundamental change in
political organization; especially: the overthrow or renunciation of one government or ruler and
the substitution of another by the governed.”1The start of a revolution often occurs when a
group, government, or society has a social or economic issue. There’s usually a problem applied to a group of people, but with the works of the oppressed, the role of political powers changes, and there is an uprising against the government. For example, America had an uprising after gaining independence from Britain. Working together against Britain’s uncalled-for protocols, they were able to gain benefits that allowed their country to flourish.
