About Raul Vasquez-Castellanos

Raul Vasquez, M.D., Director of Complex Spine Surgery at Miami Neuroscience Institute, is a neurosurgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of complex spinal conditions, including tumors, degenerative spine diseases, spinal deformities, scoliosis, kyphoscoliosis and neurotrauma. He has unique expertise in minimally invasive techniques that result in less pain, fewer complications and quicker recovery times. Dr. Vasquez serves as an editorial reviewer for World Neurosurgery Journal and Operative Neurosurgery Journal. He is widely published in peer-reviewed medical journals and an invited speaker at national and international scientific symposiums. His extensive teaching experience includes serving as assistant professor of neurosurgery at University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
