This workshop from the fall of 2017 presents tips on using our vast collection of online library resources with Liberty University Online students. This workshop will be helpful in assisting students as well as the faculty member’s personal research. We discuss accessing subscription resources using EZProxy, creating persistent links to resources that will work off-campus, and ways to prioritize our online resources over print sources when searching databases. We discuss department-specific Research Guides, Google Scholar, copyright issues, open access materials including Liberty’s Scholar’s Crossing, scholarly peer-reviewed journals, interlibrary loan, plagiarism detection and primary vs. secondary sources. Contact information is provided for Liaison librarians and an online call center which is able to assist students and faculty members in using library resources.
