Description

For planning purposes, the Upjohn Institute served as the lead agency for the planning grant for the Kalamazoo Area College Access Network in order to establish the infrastructure and funding for Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) during the implementation phase. The mission of a Kalamazoo Area College Access Network (KACAN) is to support student awareness of post-secondary opportunities in order to increase college access, success, and completion. This network will build on existing resources in the community and leverage new resources to facilitate college and career awareness, the college application process, and financial aid preparation and submission for students served by the nine public school districts that comprise KRESA.
