About Rafiq Hijazi

I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from the American University (Washington, DC) in 2003 under the supervision of the late Robert W Jernigan on developing Dirichlet Regression Models. Prior to joining Zayed University in 2019, I taught at United Arab Emirates University (2003-2012) and Al Ain University (2012-2019). In 2012-2014, I served as the Director of Quality Assurance and Institutional Research. My research interests include on Compositional Data Analysis (CODA) using Dirichlet Regression, Applied Statistics and Statistics Education.
