About Rachel Epstein

Rachel has a B.A. in Mathematics from Reed College and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.  She was previously a Visiting Assistant Professor at Swarthmore College and a Benjamin Peirce Fellow at Harvard University.   Her area of research is computability theory, also known as recursion theory, which is a branch of mathematical logic.
