About Rachel E Silverman

Rachel E. Silverman (Ph.D., University of South Florida) is an Assistant Professor of Communication in the Humanities and Communication Department at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Dr. Silverman’s research focuses on the intersection of Jewish and LGBT identities in popular culture, women’s health, and social justice pedagogy. She has published refereed journal articles in Sexuality and Culture, Health Communication and the Journal of Religion and Popular Culture in addition to scholarly book chapters encyclopedia entries, and book reviews.
