About Rachel S. Rohde, M.D.

Dr. Rachel S. Rohde returned to her native Michigan following completion of training in 2006. She is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the OUWB School of Medicine, where she serves as a PRISM mentor to the medical students. A passionate advocate for patient and provider education and mentorship, she initiated the first Perry Outreach Program in the Midwest; having led over a dozen of these programs, she has taught at least 500 young women about engineering and orthopaedic surgery as potential career choices. Dr. Rohde is proud to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Arthritis Foundation in Michigan and as the Medical Chair of the Detroit Area Walk to Cure Arthritis.
