Abstract

This study aims to determine the scientometric analysis of recent research output in the emerging field of Big Data Analytics from 2011 to 2020. The study of Big Data Analytics began in the last few years and has gained tremendous traction in a short period of time. It is now widely regarded as one of the most important developing study areas in computer sciences and related disciplines. The data has been obtained from the Scopus Database and excel and VOSviewer software used for the analysis; a total of 2304 research papers were evaluated. The study examines total output, growth in output, authorship and collaboration patterns at the country level, major contributors (countries, institutions, and individuals), top publication sources, analytical trends, and highly cited papers. The study explored continuous growth in the literature of Big data analytics.
