About Patricia C.E. Loyola-Elliott

Patrícia Couto Erthal Loyola-Elliott was born in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In Brazil, she worked as an Elementary School Teacher and as a Portuguese and English Tutor and Translator. In 1992 she attended school at the University of California, Riverside.In 1995, she moved to Atlanta, GA as an International Student at the Art Institute of Atlanta. In the U.S. she worked as an Executive in Retail Management and as a Portuguese Tutor. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Political Science/Pre-law and History/Anthropology at UNG.
In 2014, she was appointed Vice-President of Public Relations for Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society. She also holds memberships to the Student Government Association and the Latino Student Association. She plans on attending Law School.
She loves to read, write, draw, paint, bake, and cook. She enjoys Karaoke nights with her family and visiting Brazil. She lives in Lula, GA with her husband and her dog. She is passionate about the law and its relationship with human rights, children’s rights and well-being, Politics, world history and United States history. She is a poet at heart and a novice writer. She has proudly acquired her dual-citizenship status in January 2015.
