About Philip T. Reiss
Welcome to my site. I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Haifa in Israel. Previously I was with the Departments of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Population Health, New York University School of Medicine. My research focuses on semiparametric regression and functional data analysis, with applications to complex data sets arising in psychology, psychiatry and neuroscience.
I received my PhD in Biostatistics from Columbia University in 2006. The following sources of support for my research are gratefully acknowledged: the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health, the U.S. National Science Foundation, the U.S. National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, and the Israel Science Foundation.
