This essay examines the idea of a human person and the idea of intercultural dialogue presupposed by major theorists like Charles Taylor, David Tracy, Roberto Goizueta, and David L. Schindler. A new synthesis that takes into account the contributions of Latino/as and Latin American public theology is offered.
