Transient Gallery is a new alternative art space in the Des Moines area. Its second show exhibits a new series of work titled Field Notes by Ames-based artist, Peter P. Goché. Field Notes is an ongoing series of ethnographic assemblies that are painterly, sculptural and phenomenal. Each inquiry is part of a process by which the cultural history and perceptual experience of a particular setting is revealed.
