About Peter P. Nghiem

Peter's research interests span areas of parallel and distributed systems, big data analytics, machine learning, and energy-efficient computing. He invented the Best Trade-off Point method and algorithm for finding the optimal number of resources for different workloads to achieve efficient computing and energy saving in any system characterized by an elbow curve. His invention was verified to be working properly in both eminent cluster computing frameworks, Hadoop MapReduce and Apache Spark.
