Description
Analysis of music employing chromatic harmony. Studies of arrangement methods for melody, bass lines, and chord symbols. Basic music composition employing modulation and chromatic harmonies. Main focus on: secondary (applied, borrowed) dominants, modulation, linear (embellishing) diminished seventh chords, the Neapolitan Triad, Augmented Sixth Chords, Modulation by Other Means, and Ninth Chords.
