Description
Theory II is a continuation and expansion of concepts and techniques begun in Theory I. Through harmonization of melodies and figured basses, harmonic analysis of music, application of chord progressions on the keyboard, and composing and improvising phrases and periods we will investigate the following material: Second Inversion Triads, Cadences/ Phrases/ Periods, Non-Chord Tones, Dominant Seventh Chords, and other Diatonic Seventh Chords.
