Description
Music Research Methodology (MSMS 590) serves as an introduction to graduate studies. The goal of this course is to help you become a more literate and independent music scholar. We will explore music library resources (paper-based and electronic), different kinds of music scholarship, and develop your academic writing skills in the English language. Practical objectives for the course are to help you with your current and future graduate coursework; especially your terminal degree research writing projects (recital document, thesis, journal article).
