Abstract
As the world attempts to navigate the uncertain conditions surrounding COVID-19, businesses, medical professionals and government officials have all struggled to maintain appropriate levels of goods — and the services that require those goods. Whether ventilators and N95 masks or toilet paper and chicken, the supply chain has struggled to keep up with demand. Penina Orenstein is an associate professor in the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences at Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business where she teaches both undergraduate and MBA-level courses in Quantitative Methods for Business and Supply Chain Management. She recently addressed the significant role of supply networks during this time and the impact upon the supply chain in the midst of COVID-19.
