About Peggy Odom-Reed
Peggy Odom-Reed is a lecturer in hospitality leadership at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration (SHA), where she teaches courses in management communication. Currently, she serves as the course chair for HADM 3650 - Management Communication II.
Odom-Reed earned a PhD in organizational communication from the Department of Communication at Cornell University, and has taught courses in leadership communication and organizational communication. In addition, Odom-Reed holds an MS in organizational communication with a minor in organizational behavior, and a BA in psychology with a minor in communication studies.
Odom-Reed's research is focused on communication (social) networks, leadership, teams, and distributive collaborative work.
As a certified professional in human resources, Odom-Reed has experience in human resources and leadership coaching.
