About Jamon F. Peariso, Ed.D.

My philosophy of teaching and leadership are intertwined in the ideal of servant leadership in that a successful leader looks for opportunities to serve, transform, and uplift the potential of others; recognizes and celebrates the contributions and successes of others; and fosters transformational collaboration and trust. Likewise, teaching is leading in the same sense. Organizations within a classroom, an instructional site, or across a broader organization are fundamentally similar in that any leader who serves those they lead, and to the specific needs of those they lead, will produce individual academic success and growth.
My research and areas of scholarly interests are: educational leadership, specifically instructional leadership, research-based pedagogical practices, and curriculum development.
