Representations of Young People in Information Science: The Case of the Journal of the American Society for Information Science (and Technology), 1985-2005

Abstract
Using 35 articles published in JASIST between 1985 and 2005, we present the first level of our analysis of the themes we found in respect to the representation of young people as subjects of information science research. It is our general finding that the developmental approach to childhood remains dominant.Â
