About Paul W. Dyce

Paul received his MSc (2004) and PhD (2009), under the supervision of Dr. Julang Li, at the University of Guelph. In early 2010 he joined Dr. Gerald Kidder’s lab, as a postdoctoral fellow, in the departments of Physiology and Pharmacology and the Children’s Health Research Institute, at the University of Western Ontario. During his research training he received several awards including an NSERC PhD fellowship, and a Governor Generals academic gold medal. Currently he is a member of the CIHR Training Program in Reproduction, Early Development, and the Impact on Health (REDIH) and holds a CIHR doctoral fellowship. His research interests include the characterization and differentiation of skin derived stem cells into oocytes, and various aspects of reproductive health. Currently he is exploring the importance of cellular communication during folliculogenesis. He is currently serving as the postdoctoral representative on the University Committee on Research Ethics (UCRE) board.
